We had a wonderful Labor Day weekend on September 6th, going to Carthage, MO. After K-State won their home opener game, we woke up the next morning and went to my Aunt Kay and Uncle Bruce's house. My cousin Allen, a navy chaplian is moving with his family to Japan the end of September for three years. Joy, his wife and two children Timmy and Joshua are ready for the trip. There at my aunts house were Aunt Kay, Uncle Bruce, me, Joe, Gracie Carol, Marti, Bill, Katie Beth, Hannah, Suzanne, Jay, Mia, Vaughan, Allen, Joy, Timmy, Joshua, Joy's brother and sister-in-law Grace. We had a fun time visiting with everyone and spending the day taking pictures. Jimmy and his family were missed because they are in Australia. But we thought of them too!

When we were leaving Carthage, MO, we did stop at the "Precious Moments Chapel". Gracie had the best time running around and seeing the pictures at the chapel. She loved the statues and all the angels. Then we went to Mineral, KS to see "Big Brutus". The largest shovel. It was huge and we went up inside to the operators deck. Brutus is a must see!!

Gracie Carol is growing every day. She is a smart little girl and likes to use her imagination with her stuffed animals and pretend that they are in tents. She is now 30 mos. old. We love her and love spending time as a family together.

We are enjoying our life with Gracie Carol. She is now two years old and entertain us every day. She loves watching videos of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Dragon Tales, Arthur, Wiggles and Winnie the Pooh. She is talking in sentences and verbalizing what she wants to do and watch. When we get in the car to go for a ride, she also requests songs. Her favorite are Wiggles and Dierks Bentley "Free and Easy". She knows the words. Joe also plays his guitar for Gracie and she makes up songs and sings along. Recently, there was a video of a Cockatoo dancing to James Brown and Gracie knew it was a Cockatoo from her Australian books and laughed so much to this video. Take care all and we'll keep you posted on more mommy and daddy events. I love being a stay at home mom. Every minute is so precious with baby girl Gracie. :)

Hello from the Montgomery's and Happy New Year. The new year is here and baby girl is turning into a little girl toddler. We are having fun decorating her room into a Princess room. She has Princess's of all the characters around her room. Gracie loves playing her kitty keyboard, sitting at her table and chairs to color/play with stickers and loves to sing along with the Australian group...The Wiggles. She also enjoys going to the park and climb on the playground equipment. Gracie slides, swings and likes to watch the other kids. Her Grandma Carol just got back from visiting Stacey's brother and nieces/nephews in Australia. She had a good trip. She went to Woodspoint which is a camping cabin, also to the beach and to a nature farm. Josie who is 8 loves ballet, Catriona who is 5 loves to color and Seamus loves to play with cars, trucks and all different animals. Gracie knows the kangaroo, wombat, parrot, koala and the geiko.

Gracie's favorite characters are Winnie the Pooh, Arthur, Mickey and Minnie Mouse (The hot dog song) and Jeff, Anthony, Murray and Greg of the Wiggles. There is a new Greg...but mainly we watch videos (DVD/VHS). Also...we must not forget...Peter Rabbit, Barney and KState's Willie the Wildcat. Gracie just doesn't play with one toy...she plays with all of them. She also has a Snoopy cartoon card game that is advanced for her age but enjoys reading the cards and making up stories. 5 little monkeys she can resite at 22 mos, sing Twinkle, Twinkle little star and count/do her AbC's. Counting up to twenty. Sesame Street comes on PBS at 9am and she watches Elmo and all the characters.

Gracie also enjoys her Grandma Polly. She plays tea party with her and likes going to her house to play in her kiddie corner. We have books, puzzles and stuffed animals for her to play with over at Grandma Polly's house. She has a little red wagon that she pulls her stuffed animals in all the time. It is funny, but everytime she goes to Grandma Polly's she picks up the same bear.

More later, take care---Stacey, Joe and Gracie
